Game of Thrones is back! Well, to be more precise what is really back is the universe of Game of Thrones due to the premiere of its highly anticipated prequel: House of the Dragon.

There has been three long years (and a pandemic) since the iconic HBO show ended, and nothing had quite filled the fanaticism void Jon Snow and his peers left us with.

We go back to Westeros, King’s Landing and all of its intrigues to witness the beginning of the end of House Targaryen, tragic events set 300 years prior to the stories we witnessed in Game of Thrones.

hese may be different times, but the battles (both literally and metaphorically) for the Iron Throne remain.

This time it’s a civil war, Daenerys Targaryen’s ancestors will be fighting each other in the legendary ‘The Dance of the Dragons’, to conquer King Viserys’ throne. Prepare yourself for the upcoming epic battles, the incestuous marriages and tons of dragons flying through the skies!

Filming began at Warner Bros Studios Leavesden in Watford. This studio complex near London is not new when it comes to house big productions. Among others, some of the Harry Potter films were shot here as well as The Batman, the new superhero film

But House of the Dragon producers took good note of Game of Thrones and already knew that within our real world there were plenty of sceneries capable of transporting us to Westeros or Essos. Travel with us!
