PLACE DE L'ESTRAPADE: Emily's apartment.
Emily lives in the charming neighborhood of Place de l’Estrapade, in the fifth arrondissement of Paris. This is one of the most iconic locations of the series, as it’s also where Gabriel, her neighbor and chef, lives. Across from her apartment, you’ll find Gabriel’s restaurant and the bakery that Emily often visits in early episodes.

TERRA NERA: Gabriel's restaurant.
Gabriel’s restaurant is a real place, the Italian restaurant Terra Nera, which often welcomes ‘Emily in Paris’ fans.
The restaurant changes its name each season: it was initially called Les Deux Comperes, then Chez Lavaux and most recently it became L’Espirit de Gigi, a tribute to Gabriel’s grandmother.
This cozy neighborhood restaurant offers a traditional menu of pastas, antipasti, meats and fish. Some standout dishes include fried calamari, gorgonzola tortellini, carbonara and much more. There’s also a dessert menu featuring tiramisu, profiteroles and sorbets!
Shortly after ‘Emily in Paris’ first premiered, Terra Nera introduced a special menu in tribute to the series. Although the menu is no longer available, you can still stop by for dinner and a glass of wine, just like Emily and Mindy did. However, you’ll notice that the interior isn’t exactly the same, as the kitchen isn’t open, and you can’t see the chefs at work.
Likewise, the café that Emily often visits, Café de la Nouvelle Mairie, is located right here, along with her favorite bakery, La Boulangerie Moderne. Nearby is the Luxembourg Garden, another of Emily’s favorite spots and a Parisian classic.

The office where Emily works, Savoir, is located in the quiet Place de Valois. This location frequently appears when Emily heads to work in her signature outfits. The square is close to the Louvre museum, making it a perfect spot for a stroll after enjoying some art.
