MONUMENT VALLEY: Dolores and Teddy on horseback.

A recurring shot in the first season of Westworld is one of Dolores and Teddy, two androids (supposedly) in love, riding across vast and beautiful desert lands.

And one of those impressive landscapes is the Monument Valley. A series of cluster of sandstone buttes on the Utah-Arizona state line located within the territory of the Navajo Nation Reservation.

Even though you haven’t been lucky enough to visit it (yet), you would probably have seen its beauty feature in films such as Forrest Gump or in a couple of episodes of Doctor Who.

Can you imagine yourself riding across this valley like the Westworld characters did? Or enjoying a remarkable sunset filled with reddish tones? Click on ‘Activities’ and you will find our selection of tours and experiences for you to experience the Wild West!

If you want to keep travelling across the North American Desert visiting other Westworld filming locations, we recommend you this near destinations. (Please, keep in mind the vast distances in this country):
