With this tour from Djerba Island, you can embark on a journey to Berber cities, an oasis full of palm trees, and the troglodyte hotel where Star Wars was filmed!

Tataouine is the first stop on this excursion, a city known for its Roman Road connecting the island to continental Africa and its salt lake. You’ll have time to explore the streets of Tataouine’s market and discover its typical Berber products. The next stop is the village of Chenini, where you can enjoy a local meal at a Berber restaurant.

After lunch, it’s time to visit Ksar Ghilane to enjoy a dip in a spot nestled between the greenery of the oasis and the yellow sand dunes! You’ll also have the opportunity to take a camel or quad ride through the dunes (not included).

The day ends at a desert camp where you can enjoy one of the best sunsets in southern Tunisia and a starry sky.

The second day begins with a visit to Matmata, the troglodyte village where the Sidi Idriss hotel (filming location for Star Wars) is located. The final visit of the day will be to the Berber village of Toujane, hidden between two mountains and famous for its handmade carpets and honey.

By the end of the day, you’ll return safely to your hotel with your head full of great memories!
