PALMA (Majorca): The streets of Montecarlo in 'The Crown'.
In the last seasons, the show traveled to the Mediterranean island of Majorca to film the beginnings of Dodi and Diana’s relationship. The streets of Palma recreated their romantic trip to Montecarlo!
Specifically the streets of Sant Feliu, Costa de Can Santacilia, Can Tagamanent square and the Port of Palma witnessed how the actores played Diana and Dodi walkied around “Montecarlo” until they were found by a group of paparazzi.

The Crown also took its cameras to the idyllic cove of Cala Racó (Port d’Andratx) to shoot inside a dreamy mansion called Villa Castillo.
This impressive house built on the edge of a cliff became the Castle of Santa Teresa, Al-Fayed’s property in Saint Tropez, where Lady Di and Dodi spent part of their romantic getaway in August 1997.
But Diana had already visited Majorca’s beautiful beaches in the show a season before she met Dodi. Remember the episode when Carlos and Lady Di went to the Italian coast with their children and the paparazzi photographed them on a yacht seemingly in love? That was the municipality of Andratx and the beach of San Telmo!
