2 iconic gangs are waiting for you in Liverpool!

Yes, Peaky Blinders is set in Birmingham. But Liverpool‘s industrial history and aesthetic turned this city into the perfect location to film the show among docks, cobbled street and brick warehouses!

Peaky Blinders Conquer Liverpool. The Hidden Filming Locations You Cannot Miss!

Do you want to discover with us the grim locations in Liverpool where Tommy Shelby held his crown? You’re in the right place!

There are places you can only get to if you hang out with the wrong people. But we’ve got you covered! These are the main Peaky Blinders filming location in the Liverpool area that will make you feel like you’re back in 1919 with the gang!

Powis Street is the iconic pedestrian street where the Shelbys live, and the first location we ever see of the show! St George’s Hall is the impressive Neoclassical building where somethings happened that we rather forget (we’re talking about a scene involving gunshots and Grace). Arley Hall, this beautiful country house doubled as Tommy Shelby’s grand home that was turned into ashes (only on the show). Port Sunlight is Aunt Polly’s house, a charming building originally built in the late 1800s for the workers of a factory nearby. Lastly, Formby Beach is Margate, the place where Alfie and Tommy have their last duel.

But don’t you think this BBC show is the only one that has opted to take its crew to this city! Sherlock Holmes (2009), The Batman (2022) or Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (2016) have also been filmed in Liverpool. As well as, of course, the musical romantic comedy based on The Beatles songs: Yesterday (2019)! One thing is clear, you’ll have plenty of filming locations to visit on your trip, click on the “See More” button and browse through our tour selection!

The Birthplace of the Band that Became a Legend. Liverpool and The Beatles.

There’s no doubt that Peaky Blinders is our favourite gang… but you cannot leave Liverpool without immersing yourself into the universe of the greatest (musical) gang in history: The Beatles!

Visit The Cavern Club, The Beatles Story exposition or the museum focused on the early days of the band to travel back in time to the 60s and learn more about John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Star! A unique experience that you can only have in the vibrant city where The Beatles were born!

Liverpool lives music in a different way, there’s even a Beatles-themed hotel right in the city centre! It’s called the Hard Days Night Hotel and every meal and coctel served at its restaurant is named after a Beatles song. Although the hotel’s crown jewels are the two suites dedicated to John Lennon and Paul McCartney. The Lennon suite even has a white baby piano very similar to the one Lennon had in his home in London!

Go to “See More” to discover The Beatles activities we’ve included in our selection so you also get to know this musical side of the city! Book now your next great experience!
